Parking on Campus
Another “perk” for being a Gold LEAF member is free parking (with a permit) in commuter lots on the University of Maine Farmington campus. All UMF students have to pay $20 for a parking decal. UMF does not charge Gold LEAF members for parking; we appreciate UMF’s support of our organization.
University Credit Union (UCU)
Members of the Gold LEAF Institute Senior College - UMF are eligible for membership with the University Credit Union (UCU).
Maine Association of Retirees (MAR)
The Maine Association of Retirees (MAR) exists to protect and expand the rights and benefits of Maine retired teachers, state/county/municipal government employees, and to support a fiscally sound retirement system. MAR has 15,000+ members. One of the benefits MAR offers to its members is one annual $15 refund to each MAR member who registers for classes under Senior College. The MAR member should send a receipt to MAR, 280 Maine Ave., Farmingdale 04344 showing he/she paid for a class and then MAR will send the person a check for $15.
